Just like most great ideas in this world; things finally got underway one afternoon in a bar. 2 guys. Similar ideas. Different perspectives. Different sports. Different worlds. Neil began crashing his bicycle long before suspension was a twinkle in any bike manufacturer's eyes. Following a winter knee surgery in 2005, the need for rehab and a visual element to riding indoors prompted the deployment of the helmetcam in the summer of 2006 as part of race laps. This would eventually become a fixture in most events Neil competes in, as well as the addition of other footage to offer race footage to all competitors via the CadenceXC experiment. Neil continues to be actively involved in local (Ontario, Canada) race events.
