The inaugural launch of our adventure racing team saw Jayme, Adrian and Shane capture 2nd place in OARPS All male category in 2009. In 2010, Adrian, Adam and Shane captured 3rd place overall.

Shane Brown

Now in his 4th season of adventure racing, Shane is the statistician of the team.  His consistent time checks, pace checks, forecasting time to the next checkpoint and strategic mind make him an important member of the team.  Rarely relied on for his navigation skills, his commentary on direction are often dismissed.

With over 20 races on his resume ranging from 10K's to marathons, this guy knows how to hustle.  In his first marathon, he clocked an amazing 3:39.  This was after he shed 80lbs.  In 2010, Eman has expanding his resume to include ultra running with 50k and 80k events.  Insane.  Plus, he's probably one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.

Melanie Lessard

This triathlete is a tough competitor with a great spirit.  While in physiotherapy from a car accident; she promptly signed up for her first half iron in order to keep herself motivated.  She is no stranger to the podium in Quebec and has recently been named to the Canadian team.  Look for her in Budapest in 2010.

Mel is way more advanced and intelligent than the rest of us.  Her race stats can be found here.

Meredith Hagan

Meredith is triathlete, marathoner, personal trainer and co-owner of Phat Chicks. She has completed seven marathons including Toronto, NYC and Boston. With a busy schedule and minimal training she got a taste of finishing in the top of her age group in the Subaru Triathlon Series in the summer of 2009.

Meredith tragically lost her life from a cycling accident on April 29th 2010. She will always be a part of our team. Learn more about Meredith here.
